Living Without Limits Saturday Night Fever Spectacular
25 May 2019On the 25th of May, LWL hosted its 2019 Saturday Night Fever Spectacular at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. All funds raised on the night went towards the development of the Foundation’s HOUSE OF RESPITE, a holiday house in Goolwa for families of children challenged by or Cerebral Palsy. The Funds raised from this event will enabled the Living Without Limits Foundation to kick off construction of the house, to be built by Sarah Constructions, a great South Australian company. This holiday house, which will be professionally serviced, managed and maintained by Novita Children’s Services, will be specifically for families who never get away, who are unable to afford a holiday, who simply can’t catch a break – to finally have some much-needed and well-earned respite.
The response to the Saturday Night Fever Spectacular had been nothing short of phenomenal, all 60 tables (600 seats) were sold out in just under 6 days with around $130,000 raised on the night. The evening featured a delicious 3 course meal, accompanied by a premium beverage package sponsored by Mazi Wines, GISA Wines and Coopers Beer. With entertainment from No 2 Ways, the 10 piece Bee Gees cover band, a dance performance by Ding Productions and Former Lord Mayor Martin Haese as MC, guests enjoyed an evening filled with surprises, dancing and disco music. The night ended with the Silent & Main Auction coming to a close, where 60 fabulous auction items were up for offer.
Thank you to all the wonderful businesses partners and sponsors that contributed to the events success.
